Down Payment

My name is Angela Hood and my husband Keyon and I are in a bit of a bind. One year ago we moved into a 3 bedroom apartment to take in my younger sister to help her with school and ready her for college. Before Christmas of 2011 she decided that she wanted to move back home with my parents because she didn’t like the “strict” homework rule we had in place for her. Since we couldn’t move until our lease was up we were stuck paying $1995 for an apartment that after living here for 3 months was not worth the price. Recently we noticed that some stuff in a hallway cabinet was a little damp and smelled of mildew, come to find out the hot water heater in the apartment above ours was leaking and had been leaking for while, to the point that we now have mushrooms growing out of our ceiling and in the cabinet, on top of the fact they want to raise our rent to $2095 a month, that was the last straw. I am asking for $5,000 for a down payment for a new house, we can afford monthly mortgage payments, we just don’t have enough for a down. Can you help two newlyweds realize the American dream by helping us with our down.
