Don’t let us get cut off!

As I am currently job searching, I can‘t afford to be without my phone. And as my son’s other dad lives about 200 miles away, the phone is the only method of communication they have with one another in the times between their fortnightly visits to each other.

For a number of reasons, many linked to my mental ill-health and having recently lost my full-time job, I’ve managed to get myself into considerable debt with Vodafone, with whom both of our contracts are held.

I'm currently working really hard to find paid employment again, despite the fact that on top of all this, I'm recovering from the major surgery I had less than a month ago! But of course, without access to a phone, this is going to be far more difficult.

Even if I were to land a job tomorrow (*prays*), that wouldn't solve this particular problem - Vodafone want paying in the next couple of days. The earliest I can receive any donations from this crowdfunder will be 19/06/2018, but I'm hoping that if I have the funds raised here to show, I might be able to borrow the money from someone until I can pay them back on that date.

I thought long and hard about crowdfunding for this, as there seem to be so many more worthy causes, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. It’s taking a lot of humbling myself and stepping above my pride to do this, but if you are able to help even a tiny bit I will be eternally grateful.
