Donations for family in Petrinja who lost their home after the devastating earthquake

On December 29^th, a destructive earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 struck Petrinja in Croatia which ruined the lives of many in just a few seconds. This had a devastating effect on so many families, leaving them homeless and without adequate shelter and food, or the hope of returning to their homes due to the damage that has been caused.

My name is Stefica Tominovic and this campaign is about helping my parents who lost everything they own and worked hard for their entire lives including our family home. The damage was so severe, that the house was declared unsafe to live and had to be torn down.

I know that people want to help, but they don’t want to give money for fear of it going into the wrong hands. And the organisations that people are donating to are only partially getting to the people who really need it.

My dad is retired, and my mom is unemployed with multiple health problems. This campaign will help my family from a small village called Gora, a few miles from Petrinja to get a roof over their heads and rebuild their lives.

Please help my parents to get their lives back and provide hope for us for a better tomorrow after this heart-breaking disaster that hit my family.
