Campaign Story
I am a 38 year old who was laid off of work recently. I am attending college for a bachelor's degree. Most health insurance I've looked into either cost more than I can afford and don't cover dentures or there is a 6-month waiting period. For the last year continue to get abscesses in my mouth no matter how hard I try to take care of my teeth. I need to have my teeth pulled and get dentures. I have gone to several dentists and the average cost of the proceeded is between $5,000 and nearly $7,000. I don't have that kind of money but abscesses could kill me. It is extremely painful, makes it hard to eat or do anything. I can't afford not to work or go to class. So I'm trying this campaign thing to see if anyone even bothers to care.
