Disabled Veteran needs assistance to return to school

To those who are kind enough to take the time to read this I thank you,

My name is George Wylam; I am an honorably discharged and disabled veteran of the United States Army. For the last three years I have worked as a volunteer with the Veteran's Housing Facility of Silicon Valley in San Jose, California. I have been working with and assisting other veterans suffering from PTSD, physical disabilities, mental health issues, drug and alcohol addictions, and homelessness. While working with the veterans housing I have started an outreach program to homeless veterans, been involved in peer support counseling, assisted with screening and admissions of new clients, and other aspects of the program. I personally found this a very fulfilling vocation and have developed a passion for working with other veterans. In April of 2018, I am moving to Anchorage, Alaska, I state where I lived in my youth and came to love. My goal is to continue the work I have been involved in with veterans once I arrive. This will involve my returning to school first to get accredited as a drug and alcohol counselor and then moving into becoming a licensed clinical therapist. As I stated earlier, I am myself a disabled veteran, currently on social security disability and as such my funds are limited The monies raised will be going towards acquiring housing upon arriving, finding moderate and reliable transportation, and tuition and other school expenses. Whether I receive donations or not, I will be moving approximately 10 April, 2018. Any donations that I am blessed to receive would make the move and transition towards reaching my goals more manageable.
