grew up in a house with two addict parents, first memories were of my parents partying and bringing me to bars when I could barely walk. This caused depression, anxiety and really low self esteem through my teenage years, and I was deemed disabled in my 20's. My mother had a stroke in 2006 at age 46, and I moved in to care for her until she passed away in 2010. This caused me PTSD which was diagnosed shortly after. I then moved back in with my father but he threw me out in october 2015 with absolutely no notice, because he got re-married and decided I had to go. I cant live at shelters or on the streets anymore due to all the drug use around me. I've been sober for 5 months and just want a shot at a life again. all donations will go to funding housing and housing expenses so I can have a homebase to start looking for a job so I can get off disablility and eventually go back to school (I want to be an addiction specialist) and start a career; so I can become a contributing member of society. but im mostly focused on housing.

I made music before I was thrown out of my home, you can hear it here- www.soundcloud.com/BenNice

I'd love to be able to create music again, as Music is my dream but these things have to come first.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story. God Bless
