Diabetes made my life miserable

My name is Robert and I would like to say “Thank you” for taking the time to read this, and I hope it finds you well. Regretfully I am deeply in need of your help and I have fallen on hard times. I have been made on and off from my job as Contract Desktop Support Analyst and have lost most of my money after I stop working, and now sinking on financial debt. I am living with my 78 years old foster father with limited income, plus a blind dog to take care of. Last September  2012, I quit my contract job due to my sickness. I am on 3 medications right now; 2,000 mg a day of Metformin, Micardis Plus 80mg once a day, and Lipitor once a day. Last year I lost consciousness and banged my head and luckily it was in the plastic bucket on the floor and not directly to cement floor. My doctor’s diagnosis last November 2012 that I have slight liver damage and I need a rest, if I would like to live longer. He raised the dosage of my Metformin daily intake as I refuse to use insulin and I don’t want to become dependent on it.  I have a Type 2 Diabetes for almost 6 years now that keeps me out from working steadily. It’s really hard being diabetic and how to control this disease. Most of the time I am not feeling well  once my blood sugar is low and my eye sight get blurry once my Blood sugar goes up. I had 5-6 interviews since December 2012 and when they learned about my health issue because I always disclose it every interview, they became worried. They told me that there are more candidates scheduled for intreviews and they will let me know later, but they don't bother calling me or sending me email at all. Despite all of these factors, I still manage to carry a positive attitude and make every attempt to look for a new contract job. I wish I could work at home so that it’s easy for me to monitor my blood sugar every day, and at the same time I could able to take care of my foster father and my blind dog. My dream is to have my own graphic t-shirt store someday, but I would like to start selling t-shirts online for a start because I don’t have enough capital or resources to put up that dream t-shirt store. 

I am attempting to raise funds to start my small business, so I can independently work and financially capable supporting myself despite of my sickness. I need financial help to buy Heat Press machine, blank t-shirts and financial capital to start a home business. The funds received will not only go toward starting small business, but it will also toward raising awareness for Diabetes ; and  the elimination of cruelty to and neglect of all animals.  Yesterday I created a website to sell some of my own t-shirts to raise funds. Each t-shirt sold in my website, $1.00 will be donated to Canadian Diabetes Association and also $1.00 will be donated to Animal Welfare Society.
