The badger cull is expected to come to Devon in September 2016: https://dcabc.wordpress.com/cull-zones/
Thousands of badgers' lives are at risk.
Devon County Hunt Sabs will be on the frontline, putting ourselves between the badgers and the people who want to shoot them. For the past three years we have protected badgers in the Somerset cull zone, guarding setts and seeing off shooters night after night. We are experienced and dedicated and our methods are effective. We have spent this year preparing for the rollout to Devon and have been sett surveying intensively for many months.
We are Devon badgers' last line of defence and we will not let them down.
But we need your help.
Direct action costs money: fuel, night-vision equipment, high lumen torches etc. We cover much of the cost ourselves and try to be as economical as we can, but fuel alone is likely to be between £1500 and £2000.
If you can't make it to the killing fields yourself but want to help in a way that will make a real difference and save lives, please share and donate to our fundraiser.
