Devastating Death in Family

Hello everyone. I am in need of some help for my sister-in-law Melissa who lives in Kansas with her 13 yr. old son. Back in Oct of 2014 Melissa came to South Carolina to visit our family and to heal from lap band surgery and surgery to remove a life threatening tumor which went unnoticed due to her heavy weight. She weighed around 450lbs at the time. She came by herself and left her beautiful son and loving male partner who she was to marry in 2015 this summer. Her partner was admitted to a treatment center for substance abuse during her visit here. He went through one of those programs that do a quick detoxification. On her return to Kansas, 2 short weeks later he passed away from heart failure at only the age of 41. We think the quick detox had something to do with this and of course his living choices in his past.

Now my sister-in-law has been left with a growing son to take care of which we all know is very expensive. She was left with no transportation, many bills including medical, no life insurance or any benefits to speak of. She does have 2 low paying jobs and works 60 hours a week to make ends meet. She is going through a very rough time and being bogged down with death, bills and a depressive state that makes her think their is no way out.

I would like to raise money to purchase her a modest vehicle so she will have better job opportunities, be able to take her son to boy scouts and other activities he desperately needs due to not having his father alive to mentor him.

Also in addition I would like to pay the remainder of her medical bills which estimate to around 6500 and mounting with late fees etc.
