Clinic in need of used books/movies/games

I'm currently living a sober life after drinking for more than 25+ years. I was sent to a detox center and left the first time I was there after only two days. The staff is helpful, they feed you well and the place is pretty clean. There just isn't much to do from 7am-10pm while you're there. Most people leave mainly because there is simply nothing to do and because they're so bored. The board games are old with missing pieces, there is nothing to read but a few old magazines that everything passes around and the only thing that makes time go by a little faster is watching TV. Everyone usually sits around the TV all day and there are few dvds but they are all scratched, they're old movies nobody really has ever heard of and there seems to be no movies with comedy which could help while you're there depressed and trying to stay long enough to detox. I sat and watched 9 movies one day because that's all there is to do. It would be nice to have several books, puzzles, board games, cards and more of a selection of movies to watch. It's a very simple, non expensive request that could make a huge difference. The ages vary and it would be nice for everyone to have more to do while they're there to pass time. I plan on dropping off used books, games and dvds every couple months in hopes that it may help.
