Desperately need new tyre for our car

Hi all my friends, much to my embarrassment I am going to have to do a "GoFundMe" as we desperately need a new tyre for the car as our one tyre is down to canvas. We only use the vehicle locally as it is very old, but we need a car for hospital visits and for some local shopping as my wife struggles to walk and I myself sometime battle due to fully fledged arthritis. I am 74 and my wife is 73. I have been unable to get a second-hand tyre. The cost of a new tyre is R625.00 Which includes wheel balancing plus R300.00 for wheel alignment (but the wheel alignment can wait).

We live mainly on Social Grant due, and I have to say it, but it is because of my misbehaviour in past years.

We have been blessed with a gift voucher from our local Church to the tune of R400 for a food voucher but it's for a shop in Umzinto and I don't want to risk a flat tyre or the cops fining me if we go to Umzinto. This also applies to when we drive around our local shops in Scottburgh.
