Campaign Story
Hi everyone!
On the 16th of July, I'll be going to Bangalore, India, as my IB Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) Project to work together with the Embassy Community Outreach program to raise awareness about health issues in Government schools.
Particularly, I'll be teaching children the importance of dental hygiene and will be inculcating good dental practices amongst them over a period of two school weeks.
In order to do this, I'm raising $1000 to buy 300 children dental kits consisting of a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, a cup and a hand towel.
All the money raised will be used to purchase the dental kits and educational resources to teach the school children.
To raise funds for Bangalore, I'll be going on a hike in Bukit Timah Hill on 24th June. By raising this money, I hope to improve the dental hygiene of the students so that they can in turn emphasise good dental practices amongst their family members and community.
