I am Pastor Dennis Banks' daughter Kathy Moss.
On October 3rd we picked dad up at the airport in Knoxville, and immediately took him to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Dad was in heart failure and his organs were shutting down.
The cardiovascular team reacted aggressively and placed a temporary pump inside him and were able to stabilize him.
On Monday, October 7th dad was life flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Currently he is being evaluated for either a VAD (Ventricular Assist Device), and possibly a heart transplant. Dad has been praying for five years (since his diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure) for a new heart. Our family is holding on to that prayer and still believing.
So many miracles have taken place already just to get him where he is now.
Due to mom and dad's financial status, their case worker has asked us to reach out for help.
First, we are asking for prayers that the miracles will continue through this process. Secondly we would like to give everyone an opportunity to bless him.

10.13.2019 Where are we now?
Update posted by Kathy Moss at 08:19 amIt appeared the evaluation process is going well. Dad is scheduled for a heart cath on Monday, and then they want to shock his heart on Tuesday to try and bring it out of AFIB. Continued prayers that this all goes well! We will know the decision of the Team. . . . .

Update posted by Kathy Moss at 07:46 pmThere are so many miracles ongoing right now it's hard to keep up!Five years ago dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. This past year we have seen a steady decline in his strength and he's had bad spells more frequently. Three weeks ago he was in bed sick for. . . . .
