Campaign Story
Namaste! Welcome to my fundraising page.
I am a 4th year nursing student at Rutgers University with the ultimate dream to become a nurse and work in underserved countries around the world. This Spring 2020, I will be travelling to Delhi, India - specifically hospitals and slums in Faridabad.
I will be shadowing well-respected physicians and nurses who are passionate about their careers. These hospitals are often under-resourced and equipment is basic, which stresses the need for assistance.
While on my trip, I will be working on a personal project focused on comparing healthcare systems in India with that of America (including Puerto Rico) and Bolivia. My greatest hope is to gain a better perspective on the challenges each country must face in terms of raising health equity.
A portion of this sponsorship will be donated to local health organizations.
