Defense 4 Her

Hello everyone. My name is Grant Cartnal and I am curently starting up a community based program for women'a protection and self defense. I live in a small rural town in southern IL. I've lived here most of my life. Two years ago this program was but a thought. Based on personal witnessing in close friends and famlies lives I saw a need. Today more than ever the world is becoming more violent. Sadly more often than not women are the victims of sexual and domestic crimes. It's imperative that women are taught on the dangers that are ever increasingly present in all types of towns and communities not just bigger cities. I believe that an awareness, defense and protection program should be offered to women everywhere. As a Combat Veteran with six years of service and two tours of combat duty to Iraq I take teaching self defense and situational awareness very seriously! The threat to a woman's safety and well being are real and and increasing! But I believe that A program that gives women the confidence, mental toughness and training they need to avoid being a victim is possible!
