Danny No White Flags for Leukemia Fund

Tyler was born a fighter! Strong, athletic and driven. From the moment he came into this world there was no denying that he had a plan to make his mark! Currently 19 years old he is still that same young man that has many dreams to live out with this world waiting on him to engage.
However, on February 23, 2011, when Tyler was 16 years old, a Junior at Oviedo High School, and a varsity wrestler. Not just any wrestler, he was ranked 3rd in the state of Florida at 152 lbs by the Orlando Sentinel, also an All American in Greco Roman wrestling. Then out of nowhere he was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. No health issues, no symptoms....just like that, he was in for the fight of his life and he treated this news no different than any of the other "fights" that he had taken on. His first words were "what do we need to do to beat this?" As a family, we followed his lead. No pity, no excuses....we were all ready to do whatever it took.
This type of Leukemia typically strikes children under the age of 10, being 16 at the time of his diagnosis put him in a high risk category. His treatments started immediately. While making it almost 2 years in a chemo induced remission state.....on December 27, 2012 Tyler received test results that showed that the Cancer had infiltrated his spinal fluid and central nervous system. There are no words to describe the fear, anxiety and devastation that this news gave. It had been such a rough go the first time, but now he would not only have to start over with his treatments, but the chemo treatments are extreme.
It will be (1) year this Christmas that he received the relapse news and we are all nervous. The treatments over the past year have robbed him of any chance at his dreams of flying, the military, a traditional college experience and so many other things. At every turn, he's been told NO!! 
Tyler has a deep desire to give back and share his story and strength with other kids who are going through these types of illnesses. This fundraiser is being set up to allow Tyler to have the opportunity to start his adult life debt free and provide him with the funds to experience life, even if limited, and to get well enough to live the best life possible.
