DENVER, CO- Local mobile dance organization Dance Exploration LLC has launched a fundraiser to provide ten lucky Title 1 schools in the Denver-Metro free dance classes for the 2013/14 school year. The dance sessions will target preschool to elementary school age children.
Dance Exploration is hoping to raise $5,000 total to provide children in low income schools an enriching dance education they would not have the opportunity to experience otherwise. Title 1 districts and schools typically receive extra financial and educational assistance from the USDE based on census poverty rates.
A small amount can make a huge difference in one or even two children’s lives. Just a ten dollar donation will pay for two children to attend one dance class! Dance Exploration’s “Dance to Learn!” curriculum focuses on reading readiness as well as motor skills, and the contributions acquired through this fundraiser help pay for teacher wages, training, props, music, books, and more in order to create and run a quality “Dance to Learn!” class.
Any funds over the target $5,000 goal will be donated to the Colorado Children's Campaign!
