D.I.Y Skate-Park

I am a skateboarder. Skateboarding means a lot to me. It is an art form that unifies people who are supportive of each other's individual endeavors towards growth and development. Uniqueness is encouraged and highly appreciated by the skateboarding community. I am allowed to be myself on a skateboard without falling victim to any judgement or hostility. It keeps me sane and keeps young people away from the usual vices. I live in an area in Johannesburg without any skate parks close by and I want to give back to the large community of skaters here by building a small, free-to-use skate park at a nearby recreation center. I already have permission from the owner, now I need money to buy building materials and pre-built obstacles like quarter pipes. My peers and I simply do not have the financial capacity to do this. We are struggling. Please help me give back to a group of youth in need. Thanks in advance!
