Suffered a business loss due to COVID-19 which caused major depletion of personal finances. Finances set aside for my clothing brand's production and purchase of inventory had to be redirected towards living expenses due to the closure of manufacturers, suppliers, and producers. So very thankful that the federal assistance was available and kept my head above water throughout the end of 2020. Last month (July) a few days before my monthly car payment was due my car's clutch system failed which led to an unexpected high-cost auto repair. The total cost consumed all of the month's budgets causing me to fall behind on my auto payments including my auto insurance. Due to no insurance, the bank repossessed my car exactly one day before I received government assistance. My past due balance was $478. but because I was late and repossession was processed I am now required to pay triple the amount ($1463) plus storage fee in order to reinstate and get back the vehicle I have been able to clear my past due my balance with the bank and now in good standing. But when I called the Repo Company, they are charging me $1,365 for the storage fees. if not redeemed additional storage fees will be added. Its very unfortunate and has caused such a heavy burden on top of having to recover from a major loss of my business. I have lost everything and now my only mode of transportation that allows me to operate day to day tasks and attend meetings in order to generate income is taken away and left drowning in more debt and forced to pay extra balances that no longer serves me and does not even help me advance towards my future and well being. For most of my life, I'm usually the person that shows up when someone is in need but this season my cup runneth dry. I thank God and all donors in advance for the love, compassion, and genuine care that you all have provided..
