Cynthia is asking for help as she is being forced to rehome her 5 bunnies: She now has found homes for 3 of the bunnies, Bugsy, Benji and Buddy but she has two bunnies left who will be rehomed to Florida from Canada. Cynthia will be driving her 2 bunnies to Florida. Pepper and Buster to their new home on June 15, 2013. She is in need of gas money as it is a very long trip, over 3000 miles and will need about $800 for gas. If we all donate $5.00 to the cause. It would only take 150 people to add up to this amount so the bunnies can get to their new forever home. The following is her story, in her own words: Please help us get these two sweeties to their new forever home with Lili in Florida...
I am devastated to be having to do this but I must find homes for my 5 rabbits, which there are 2 sets of bonded rabbits.
I have been notified by my Co-Op that I have more pets than the limit allowed and that I did not get permission to have rabbits prior to getting them. I have until May 30, 2013 to re home them or my occupancy will be terminated. I am disabled, live in an accessible unit and also have a son with autism spectrum disorder. Accessible they are very difficult to come by often having a 7+ year wait list. As much as I do not want to see them go, I also do not want to lose my home.
Before asking me about local shelters, I have exhausted all that I can find with no success. That is why I am expanding my inquiries throughout Canada and parts of the US. They are located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, but when distance is far, a bunny train can be arranged.
Bugsy is bonded with Benji Bugsy will be 6 (June 11, 2007) Benji just turned 7 (April 9, 2006) Benji is very laid back. Loves pets. He has one eye which was removed due to EC and lack of care from original owners. Bugsy was abused and neglected from original owners but is very loving now. Occasionally you can pick her up but she loves getting pets behind the ears. Benji will wander around but Bugsy will often run around doing her binkies. Benji has one eye only but gets around very well. Pepper is bonded with BusterPepper is 5 (January 4, 2008) Buster will be 5 (November 20, 2008) Pepper is very lovable and will lap up attention. She is a white and grey lion head. Buster has cataracts in both eyes but is doing well. He is not really one for a lot of attention but is very bonded to Pepper. Buddy Buddy will be 9 (October 16, 2004) Buddy came to me from Los Angeles very ill. Wasn't sure he was going to pull through. With him being so sick, I had to give him needles 3 times daily and force fed him. He is now very healthy but has attitude! He is very independent and will come to you when he wants something. But he will come to you for treats and stay by you. He does love playing with the cats!
PLEASE NOTE: Cynthis is going to keep all receipts for her trip and gas and any excess donations over the cost of her trip from Canada to Florida will be given to Bunnies in Need..... http://bunniesinneed.net/
Thanks for caring and helping these bunnies !!!!!
