Cyclone Mocha and Conflict Relief- Myanmar

This fundraiser is to support and help the people of Myanmar, who have been enduring a prolonged humanitarian crisis and military coup all in the midst of ongoing conflict which has left millions displaced. The recent Cyclone has only exacerbated suffering, thousands more have been displaced, injured, and are without access to basic necessities such as food and water. While many are suffering during this critical situation, the military's obstruction of aid efforts has further deepened the crisis. We at Skills For Humanity-SFH have continued providing support throughout the country during these difficulties, we are now facing significant challenges in bringing urgent assistance to those most in need. We humbly request your support to help us deliver life-saving aid to the affected communities, including those in the blocked areas.

Current Situation:

Skills For Humanity-SFH has been actively involved in providing assistance throughout Myanmar. Despite the challenges and restrictions imposed by the military, we are still able to reach many areas and offer vital support. Currently, our focus is on rebuilding and establishing shelters and medical tents in Chin and Arakan states. However, the magnitude of the crisis is overwhelming, and the number of people in need is immense, including those in the blocked Rohingya camps. We are witnessing alarming rates of diseases such as dengue, malaria, COVID-19, and cholera among vulnerable populations, including newborns, nursing mothers, and the elderly. To address this critical situation, we urgently require financial support to procure life-saving medicine and medical supplies.
