Campaign Story
I'm joining the staff at Brighton City College (where Julie works) in their latest charitable venture. The ‘Kenya 2013’ team are cycling to Paris to raise money for this year’s project in Nakuru, Kenya.
St Trizah's school looks after children from 5 to 17 from the Ronda slum district - many of the children have no parents. The school is very basic at the moment and needs funds to develop the classrooms - as well as feeding the kids. See its Facebook page for more information:https://www.facebook.com/StTrizah
It's not a big charity; there's no fancy website, no celebrity backing it but it meets an urgent need. Many volunteers from the college go to Kenya to help with the project.
I'm not doing that but I am cycling the 200 km to Paris and am looking to raise at least £300 for the project so please spare anything you can.
