My mom and step dad are getting separated before March 1st, 2017. I am a 21 year old who is required to stay with her to help her out. She only makes commission, so sometimes her 40 hours a week checks are only 200$. I am struggling to maintain a long-term job due to a medical disease called Lupus. My mom and I are crying almost every single day about how stressed out we are about barely being able to afford basic necessities like food... My stepdad makes the most money, and unfortunately he does not plan to help us in any way. We have no idea how we will be able to afford somewhere to live, and even if we rent a cheap one bedroom apartment for the two of us to share, we will barely have enough money to do it... I just don't want my mom to cry every day over something that she works so hard for. She works 40 hours a week (sometimes more) and gets paid terribly, and because of her health issues and age she isn't likely to be hired anywhere too soon...we can't afford our bills, we're over 10K in debt, and we can't afford to move out - but if we stay in our apartment now, the rent will be 300$ higher...we don't know what to do, and all we can do is stress out, cry, lay in bed all day depressed, etc... I've been selling almost ALL of my stuff on local sales apps but I only have about 100$...which isn't a lot of money... Please...if you can help, just help her. I don't care about me having money, I just want the best mother in the entire world to have enough money to not cry every day.
