Construction & Renovation Volunteering in Laos

I am volunteering in Laos participating in construction and renovation projects of schools, daycare, and medical centers for 4 weeks. I am very interested in expanding my knowledge through this opportunity. How could this be better fulfilled while also gaining the satisfaction of serving others? Buddhism being the predominant religion in Laos has to be the main source of motivation for me, and International Volunteer HQ provides Laos as a destination option. This program is most relevant to what I am looking for. I have a love for my current knowledge of Lao culture, and I know this opportunity would greatly help my understanding of it. I am creating this fundraising page to help pay for this trip, however this trip is completely my decision and I have already accepted the idea of paying for it all on my own. I do believe the money is not worth the stress compared to what I would get out of this trip. However donations would sure help. If donating to these plans would be something you are interested in, I am able to explain to you where your money will go and you can choose where specifically it goes e.g., vaccinations, travel insurance, flights etc. I have also received a verification letter for fundraising purposes that I can provide if necessary.
