HK$2,000.00raised of HK$8,000.00 goal goal
We are in a mission to provide nutritious home cooked meals to the poor and homeless in Hong Kong.Vulnerable people are counting on us to get through COVID-19. It is the generosity of everyday people that gives us such belief that we can feed the homeless and displaced. It’s nothing flash or complicated.
Simply, our food army of volunteers help cook and volunteers help deliver. This project started in response to COVID 19 pandemic in Jan 2020 - the biggest threat to public health in living memory.- where many were left homeless, jobs lost and the poor disadvantaged students left out of schooling. COVID19HKFund was established during this time as an awareness campaign and action drive by the youth of Hong Kong, to help donate masks, food, and electronic equipment to the community. Six months on as the world continues to grapple with this threat, the Hong Kong community has come together to fight the virus. This project is in progress as food insecurity continues to rise.

I recently retired and find myself more time to do charity work and reflect. Having lived in this city for over 20 years from Germany, I would like to give back somehow to this city that has enabled me to raise a family in relative comfort and safe in the city. It’s heartwarming to see young people like yourself doing something for positive in your young lives.
