Bake Our Day – Cookies for Cancer!

Happy November! This year we’ve had time to reflect on what’s most important to us and how to best maintain our wellbeing during difficult times. We’ve grown closer to loved ones, become more aware of the importance of preserving our physical and mental health, and learned how to support each other in new ways.

As most people know, November is a month for men around the world to grow a moustache in an effort to raise awareness and funds for men’s health. This is to advocate for multiple forms of cancer such as prostate or testicular, as well as mental health and suicide prevention.

Recently we found ourselves stumped on a way in which we as females could step up to the plate and show our support. Having experienced various forms of cancer and mental health disorders greatly impact the lives of men closest to us, it didn’t feel right to sit out on this very important month.

This sparked the idea of Bake Our Day! A cookie baking initiative that we hope will put a smile on your face just as much as it will for us.

The business plan is simple. Shoot us a request for an order of cookies to be delivered right to your doorstep, and thank us by making a donation of $10 or more to our page for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. PMCC works tirelessly to provide the absolute best care for their patients and conducts extensive research to innovate cancer treatment options. We hope to pay forward our gratitude for their efforts and contribute to their ability of continuing with such excellent aid in recovery. You’ll receive a sweet treat to share with your loved ones, while also donating to a very important cause!

This initiative was inspired by a friend of ours who recently stepped forward to tell his story of his battle with testicular cancer. We look forward to supporting him this month in his effort to raise money and thank you in advance for your love and generosity!
