Construction and Renovation In Columbia

Hello! My name is Julia Siciliano, I am 20 years old, and reforming my life. If you asked me a year ago what my life's purpose was, I would've answered, happiness. After years of believing life’s purpose was happiness, I’ve realized my life purpose is not “happiness”, happiness is endless, you will continue to chase happiness. The definition of purpose; the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exist. So what was I created for? What am I destiny to do? I realize now, my purpose is to be useful, honorable, compassionate, to make a difference. I exist to inspire, teach, help, love, serve. My purpose is to educate and decade my time to the lives of my brothers and sisters and leave my community, my family, and world better than it was found. As it has come clear to me, I will continue to work towards my purpose and dedicating my time to others. Not only improving the lives of those in my community but others as well.

I am currently partnering with International Volunteer Headquarters, a world renowned volunteer travel organization. I am looking to dedicate two weeks to IVHQ’s Construction and Restoration project in Bogota, Columbia this November. Many families, school, and hospitals cannot afford to pay for supplies and labor to build and renovate. With homes, classrooms, community centers and hospitals falling apart due to increasing numbers of children and patients, assistance is drastically needed.
