We are through the 3rd and final prototype stage for HAKPAK and ready to meet with retailers for 'seed" orders.
We had high hopes of attending CES in La Vegas which would place our product in front of hundreds of potential buyers in early January 2016. The expense of $10,000 for the show was beyond our means so we'll try again in 2017.
Our goal within this campaign is to allocate 40 % of the funds toward 12 POP displays, create our packaging, attend smaller trade shows in the Northeast, cover auto travel expenses, cover phone bills and wear out some shoe leather to call on retailers and get orders into stores.
At the same time, we want to place ads beyond what we already have within Social Media. Presently we are on Facebook, Twitter and P-interest and need more PR through free hit spots on new product blogs. Utimately trade shows are the tool to placing products in front of relevant buyers that will drive orders and sales upward.
The balance of campaign funds, 60%, will finance purchase orders at our mill contractor in America.
