Community photographer in need of new camera gear after unfortunate accident

Hi everyone! I'm Sol and I am a freelance photographer. Basically I cover events, weddings, birthday parties and others for a low price catering to families or people who could not afford an expensive professional team of photographers for their special day. I have been using my trusty camera equipment for the past 5 years but recently in a trip to Phuket for a much needed vacation with my wife, I got into an accident that made my camera equipment non-usable. My whole camera bag dropped into the sea and since it was salt water, it corroded my equipment before I could save it.

Since I provide low price services, I don't gain that much profit and it is nearly impossible for me to get a new camera. I am currently serving my country in the army as it is compulsory for men in my country to serve 2 years of their lives and be paid at most $600 per month. Most of my income straight away goes to my family and basic expenses. My wife works hard day and night to provide during this 2 years and I couldn't appreciate her more. I would want to earn a little side income with photography to support her and the family.

I do know that there are others who need money more than I do so please if you have just enough money to donate a few dollars, you should donate to other fundraisers like for volunteers, a needed surgery or others.

Basically my goal is $5000 and that is to get a proper camera, lenses and equipment needed for my photography. But even if I don't reach that goal, I'd be blessed to even be able to purchase a simple and cheaper camera and lens.
