Community Development Outreach Projects

My name is Chloe Dascoli. I work for an organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). More specifically I work in the area of community development. I am currently working on a program called Project:RAZE. Project:RAZE has a heart to see poverty eradicated by encouraging growth and development in specific communities in specific countries. We have a list of 20 countries that we want to focus on. This list was compiled based on various factors such as life expectancy and the availability of clean water. Some of the countries on the list include Afghanistan, Nepal and Democratic Republic of Congo.

YWAM staff are required to raise their own support. We aren't paid by YWAM at all. I have supporters who are committed to support me financially each month. However, working with community development requires me to travel quite a lot and my travel expenses aren't covered by my monthly support. This is where I need your help. I will be making, on average, two trips each year. Each trip will be about three months in length. These trips will be to each of the countries on Project:RAZE's list.

The goal of these trips is to build relationships and set up the foundations for long term teams to work within the communities. So, I am asking you to partner with me and support me to see this vision come to fruition and to see people of developing countries living by the same standards that westerners take for granted every day.
