COLT Charity Ride – Asia Team

Dear Friends,

Next Week from Sept 11-14, I will be riding in the Annual Colt/KVH CHARITY Bike Ride where a team of 100+ riders, which includes colleagues and sponsors, will cycle 460km from Frankfurt to Zurich over 4 days.

Not exactly the triathlon type….BUT I have gone out and bought a new road bike and have been training for the last 6 weeks!

All for Charity!!

Please show your support by opening your hearts for a very worthy cause – supporting the building of a school and providing educational tools for underprivileged children as part of the UNICEF “Schools for Asia” Program.

The money raised will go towards building of the facilities and infrastructure of the school and creating a better teaching and learning environment for the kids and teachers.

The team from KVH and I will be working with UNICEF to support the “School for Asia Program” in Burma/Myanmar. The team members are Mitsuhiro Adachi, Thomas Cheng, Ryosuke Narikawa and Ted Higase.

This year, the 100+ riders are aiming to raise a combined €100,000 for our Colt/KVH charity partners across Europe, India and Asia.

Each of the cyclists will be supporting their local Country charity. And every cent raised will be matched by Colt/KVH!

皆さん

来週9月11日~14日、フランクフルトからチューリッヒまで４６０Kmの行程を4日間かけて自転車で踏破する Annual Colt/KVH CHARITY Bike Ride にColtやスポンサーから集まった100名強のライダーと一緒に参加してきます。

私はトライアスロンをするようなタイプではないのですが、今回、新しい自転車を購入し、この6週間トレーニングしてきました。これもすべてチャリティのためです。

今回集まった募金は、すべて恵まれない子供たちに学校や教材等を届けるためのUNICEFの「アジアでの学校建設」プログラムに寄付をします。皆さんの温かいお志をお願いします。

集まった寄付は学校設備等の建設や子供たちや先生のためによりよい教育環境構築のために使われます。

KVHチームと私はUNICEFのビルマ／ミャンマーでの「School for Asia Program」に協力していきます。　KVHチームメンバーは私を含め、足立充功、成川良輔、Thomas Chengの４名です。

今年、100名強のライダーがヨーロッパ、インド、アジアでColt／KVH チャリティ・パートナーとして10万ユーロを募金する目標を立てています。

各ライダーはそれぞれ自分たちの国でのチャリティをサポートします。皆さんから集まった募金と同額をColt／KVHが追加して寄付します。

恵まれない子供たちのために皆さんの温かい寄付をお願いいたします。 寄付の金額は問いません。皆さんの温かい支援をお待ちします。
