Who? Why?

ChyeNetta is an African American 18 year old that has dedicated herself to others through community service and church. Her leadership abilities have been empowered through business professionals of america and family, career and community leaders of america. In her spare time, she assists her single mom in fostering two therapeutic children. Because her mother is a foster parent of therapeutic children, she aspires to be a child or clinical psychologist.

The struggle.

The past couple of years have been a true struggle for ChyeNetta because her mother could not afford to pay for her tuituion to a private school in order to get a better education. Therefore, ChyeNetta had to transfer to a public school her senior year. Though it was a frightening change of environment, ChyeNetta's dedication powered throught the obstacles. During ChyeNetta's senior year, she became the basketball captain and leader of business professionals of american and family career and community leaders of america. While ChyeNetta played basketball and participated in the school's organizations, she maintained a part time job and went to school at a community college while maintaining honors and Advanced Placement classes. Though these positions seem easily attainable, ChyeNetta did not merely attain them but she completed them at her most optimal level. She ended her high school year with a 3.5 grade point average at the community college she was attending, a 4.15 grade point average at her high school and valedictorian of the graduating class.

What's the point?

Despite her measures, she has not been able to obtain enough tuition money to attend her dream school, Baylor University. The remaining balance on her tuition bill is 7000. The first tuition bill issued by Baylor is due on July 31st. Anything helps, she will be willing to send you her progress throughout the years and make it known that you have truly impacted her life and many others that will come in contact with her. Thank You for your time
