College student for a career

The Story:

  I am a 23 year old man that has gone through some problems in life. I dropped out of highschool at the age of 16 and worked many dead end jobs. I didn't care much about life or doing anything special other than partying. As time went by I started thinking about how my future will turn out... The way it was going it was not looking good. When I turned 22 I decided to try and get my GED and ended up succeeding. I was told by the instructors that I would be able to attend CNM (Central New Mexico) once I passed the GED test. I learned that they offer an Associates Degree in the automotive field which with my love of working with cars is a dead give-a-way. I am nearing the end of my first semester and everything is going great, except for the money problem. I unknowingly lost out on one of the scholarships that I was heavily relying on to attend.

The Dream:

I have been working on cars since I was young and never really thought of it as a career choice until recently. My dream is to finish school with my Associates degree in Transportation Technology and open my own shop that will consist of everything from an oil change to a complete custom body job. I have been working hard and doing everything I can to make this dream a reality. My state is pretty notorious for having shops that don't do jobs to its full potential and I want to prove people wrong on what a real auto shop is capable of. I own many tools and lifts capable of doing these jobs but doing them out of a single car garage is not the easiest way to go about things nor an acceptable way. I need help paying for the rest of my schooling and putting a down payment on a nice shop I have had my eye on for a few months now. I appreciate any help that can put put towards my dream and I don't know how yet but I will return the favor somehow and that is a promise I plan to keep until the end. Thank you.
