CoffeeChatConnect – Connecting Friends Around an Open Bible

It not about the Coffee. It's about the people, their communities, and God's Kingdom.

Intro:

What you will read here is a small part of the grander vision CoffeeChatConnect (CCC) has to making a difference. Already in several countries with loads of "Chatters", CCC needs financial assistance to maximise its reach and its effectiveness. We're only scratching the surface of possibility...

In short: CCC provides a platform for Christians to share their gifting, talents and resources with the wider Church. So, the question to every Chatter is, "How can we help you make a difference in the world?"

CCC is about growing the Kingdom of God and, therefore, is not affiliated to any specific denomination or church but is passionate about connecting all of God's people in an effort to make a bigger difference in this desperate world.

CCC is based on 1 Corinthians 12 and aims to harnesses the power of this unique synergy (i.e. 1+1=3);

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good."

"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."

Who:

You are the Church.

CCC is a two year old ministry, founded in 2016, that focuses on "Connecting Friends Around an Open Bible". We create inter-personal friendships, within an ever isolating and disconnecting society, through good-ol'-fashion conversation. This, Christian based ministry, reintroduces and re-energises the power of belonging, community, moral rejuvenation (inspired by the Word of God), and working together for the greater good (synergy).

Anytime. Anywhere. Anyone.

We have seen people start groups in bars, hotels, retirement homes, regular homes, schools, workplaces, etc. You’ll be amazed to see what God does in, and through, these CCC groups.

Our well-designed-pre-planned-easy-to-use CoffeeChatConnect material saves you time, connects people, and mobilises churches. Simply follow the CoffeeChat outline and have many enjoyable conversations with your friends.

Why:

We have the privilege of making a difference together.

In this busy rat-race world, we need to pay attention to two dynamics:

1. People (individuals and families) are finding themselves battling depression, anxiety, stress, separation, isolation, deep questions, loneliness, disconnection, etc.
2. Churches are finding it more difficult to keep people interested in God and connected to the Church.

For the sake of our souls, our families and our sanity, CCC brings a balance to this crazy-world dynamic.

The one thing we all need in a world the pulls us into so many different directions, is the stable influence and guidance that fellow Christians should bring into our lives. Problem is, no-one knows just how to do it, or they just don't have the time to create something significant. This is when CCC becomes the solution; using scripture to gel these communities.

The purpose of crowdfunding:

To continue developing CCC:

• From community up-liftment to resource development.
• From buying Bibles to teaching people how to read them.
• From facilitated small groups to them growing into churches.

The list goes on... the vision is HUGE. The sky is the limit but the limited resources keep CCC grounded. CCC is growing and we need your help to make it grow.

To give you an example (Now think BIG); we want to translate all the CCC material into other languages to become more effective (we've already started with Afrikaans for South Africa, which by the way, has 11 official languages). But we need to not only translate into common spoken languages but we also want to translate our material into brail for the blind, have sign language videos for the deaf and videos for the illiterate (also for the literate). A lot of research needs to go into this and professionals need to be paid to do this - that is until we have Chatters offering their talents and gifting to help develop this wonderful ministry.

Currently CCC is printing material to be distributed to whomever needs it which costs money, time and effort. We could use the help.

The bottom line:

In order for CCC to reach its full potential in making a global difference; it needs more than money... it needs God's people to buy-in to God's vision for the Body of Christ to work together for the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12). We have the privilege of making a difference together.
