I am opening a Kaffeehaus (a traditional Vienna Coffee House) serving exquisite desserts that one would fine in any Classic Cafe's in Vienna, Budapest, and Prague, all made in house from scratch using ingredients from local farmer. ie.. eggs, milk, butter, etc....
I am a Pastry Chef, graduated from Johnson & Wales University, Charleston SC, AOS degree Baking & Pastry Arts, 1992, graduated Magna Cum Laude; I also went to North Carolina State University, Raleigh NC, AAS degree Business Agriculture, 2011, graduated with top honors, valedictorian, and a member of Delta Tau Alpha Honor Society. I have many years experience in management and the food industry.
I am seeking funds for start up cost to purchase, or rent a building, equipment, supplies, staff, and a trip to Vienna to attend coffee school, and visit some traditional Kaffeehaus to get ideas to bring back.
I know that people in the states are longing for a great cup of coffee, tea, dessert, and experience the taste, and elegance of a Vienna Coffee House. The world is a melting pot, so people from other countries are longing for the old world traditions of Vienna Coffee in this modern society. It will be a mix of old and new.
