Coastal Environmental Conservation

Hello,

I am a part of an international volunteer group that is travelling to coastal New Zealand to contribute to the Coastal and Waterway conservation efforts. Once we arrive, we are put in a dorm with other volunteers and meet and team up with local charity organizations to help keep the coast clean and safe. Our work will help restore an important part of traditional Māori land.

Secondly, we will work towards cleaning up the coast that is riddled with litter that is impacting the health of the local marine environment.

This money will put a dent in the travel costs for this international volunteer to make a difference on a global scale.
