Hey there!

I would like to introduce myself, My name is Dancey Hinson. I am from a small town in Georgia. I am currently taking a Certified Nursing Assistant class through a local college at my high school with the duel enrollment program. I am needing scrubs and a smart watch for this class. I also need my own stethoscope and blood pressure cuff. My family and I are currently unable to get the needed things as we have been through ALOT in these past couple of years.

Allow me to tell you a little background information. About 3 years ago my father was diagnosed with Reactive Rheumatoid Arthritis with a combination of Psoriatic Arthritis. He had a good paying job as he worked in the timber company, but with his arthritis progressing he wasnt able to make it to work for 2 days. My fathers boss (knowing my fathers condition) fired my father and claimed he was not keeping up equipment (when infact it wasn't actually his job to do so). Since my father was fired and not layed off he could not apply for unemployment, so we went without a paycheck in our household for well over 4 months. My mother would be accompaning him as she was layed off of her teaching job and has not been able to find work since. Now she helps my grandmother do her daily tasks, as it is hard for her, due to a stroke. My father and mother could not make the payments on our house and we unfortunately lost our family home to foreclosure. One heartbreaking thing that happened when we had to leave out home is that we list almost everything that had sentimental value to us. This occurred because the bank we were associated with failed to tell us we had to leave until 2 days before the deadline. We in a rush didn't have time to collect our sentiments from the house and they were discarded. We are currently living in my great grandmothers mobile home. My father HAS recieved disability. On the other hand, 80 percent of the check he receives goes to payments towards bankruptcy, the other 20 goes towards an electricity bill. My mother does get 200 dollars a week, however, from my grandmother, but she has very little left over after feeding and providing for us.

I decided to take the CNA course during my junior year of high school, so that I could save for graduation and college. I am currently number 1 in my class and I hope to graduate Valdictorian. My biggest aspiration in life is to become a Cardiologist, and taking the step to complete my CNA course is one step further.

I would be greatly appreciative if you donate anything to my cause.
