Clean Tech Startup And Accommodation

Hi, My name is Blessing Twala, a young, 20 year old entrepreneur. I'm

from Mpumalanga, a province rife with pollution from coal fired power

plants. Many people in Mpumalanga (especially the Highveld) suffer from

various diseases and infections. This is due to the high pollution rate

that affects the province. We have been blessed with mineral resources,

but unfortunately the misuse and abuse of these precious fuel sources

have led to our detriment.

So as the engineering geek that I am

:), I wondered. Isn't there a better way to capture the waste products

that are produced by coal, wood and all other fuel sources that have

benefited our province economically, but unfortunately ruined its

citizens' health. This led me to start Vider Technologies, a clean-tech

startup that focuses on capturing waste products produced by fossil

fuels and either cleaning them, making new products and creating new

employment opportunities. We are basically recycling fossil fuels! But

our aim is also researching and building new efficient technologies

that will benefit our future in a green, clean sustainable way.

I

have already built the prototypes, the funding will be used to mass

manufacture our products to be able to gain market access and provide

our technology where its needed and fight against pollution.
The

funds will also help me in securing accommodation. As much as I've

enjoyed the process of starting this company, it has also been a very

tough journey. Due to financial constraints I lost my accommodation and

have been forced to sleep in computer laboratories at my former school

while starting the startup. As much as I am proud of starting under such

tough circumstances its starting to take a toll on my health and

productivity as I'm only able to get around 3 hours of sleep a day due

to a lack of accommodation.

I don't have much, only my mindset,

intelligence and willingness to succeed and make the world a better

place. If any of what I'm trying to do means anything to you, I implore
