Hello. We are college students currently enrolled in a child development course at a 4-year university located in the Philadelphia metro area. Because of the current unprecedented global public health crisis, several weeks ago our university ended in-person meetings and campus instruction is now fully online. To complete our course, we have been meeting via video conferencing with our course instructor. Our class has decided to sponsor a benefit project to raise funds to donate to the organization No Kid Hungry®. It is estimated that 1 in 7 kids in the U.S.A. face hunger. No Kid Hungry® believes that “no kid in America should go hungry” and for that reason accepts donations to help provide breakfast at schools, meals during summer months, and meals at after-school programs. For many kids their most nutritious meal is received at school and due to current school closures across the U.S.A. there is concern about potential increase rate of hunger for kids. No Kid Hungry® especially needs donations at this difficult time. Please provide a monetary donation to support the wonderful work of No Kid Hungry®. No donation amount is too small to help feed kids at this time. Please donate by Friday, May 8th so that we may end our semester by providing an important donation to No Kid Hungry®. We thank you for your generosity and wish all the best to you and your family.
