Claire’s Cambodia Adventure

Hello my name is Claire I'm 15 years old. In summer 2018 thanks to Camps International I will be kick starting my dream of travelling the world with a 4 week trip to Cambodia. As part of the adventure I need to fundraise nearly £4,000 to get me there and to be able to spend 4 weeks changing the lives of others for the better. By sponsoring me you I'll be part of an amazing project that helps those less fortunate. I will be going in to the community alongside other students and we will be building schools and working with the adults to help develop their agriculture, which will give them the chance of education and a better future, something which we take for granted in this country. Of course the adventure doesn't just stop with building in the community, as part of the adventure I also get to complete my PADI open water scuba diving Qualificatuon which has always been something that I have wanted to do.

Your donation will go to an excellent cause, but I don't expect donations for nothing, if you live nearby In exchange for your generous donation I will complete a challenge if your choice such as cleaning cars, baking cakes, walking dogs, gardening, cleaning, folding washing. Anything I can (reasonably) do to help you. For those of you that don't live nearby, I will be posting videos on my fundraising page and you guys can suggest some things that I can do for example doing challenges like cleaning 10 cars on a street, so all year round I will be doing good deeds.

I am a mentor at my school so I help younger years feel less scared in their new schools and also I did work experience as a primary school teacher so I get along very well with children so I hope to bring happiness to the children in the communities by building schools for them and helping them read and write
