Campaign Story
The Brookfield,IL Children's Advocacy Center received a generous donation from 8th grader Miss Macey Ward, daughter of Cheri Ward & Bill Ward, of Jamesport. Under the guidance of FCCLA instructor Jayla Smith, soft blankets were made to be given to children that visit the Advocacy Center. Some children present with very few belongings, an unexpected relocation, and love the opportunity to choose a blanket of their very own. Macey had chosen child abuse as her project. Pictured are Child Advocate DeAn Witt and Macy Ward, representing Jamesport Tri-county FCCLA. Thank you, Macy and the FCCLA class for your thoughts generosity!
