GREECE REFUGEE CAMP FUNDRAISER -

The Calais Refugee Aid Organisation is a group of individuals, committed to delivering vital aid supplies to families whom have been displaced as a result of war. The countless men, women and children we endeavour to help are living in inhospitable environments, and are surviving on the very bare necessities. We are not limited to only helping in one country, town or one group of people; we are dedicated to helping anyone and everyone in need.

Since September 2015 our team has been working tirelessly with the refugees in the Calais and Dunkirk camps; where we have travelled by road almost every weekend to hand deliver aid to those in urgent need. During our visits we have distributed medicines and clothing, whilst cooking food for 500+ people and listening to each of their stories- each one as difficult to hear as the first.

After seeing the immense difference our efforts have made in these camps, we now want to aim our focus to helping a greater cause- the Idomeni Camp, which sits on the Greek/Macedonia border and where there are currently 15,000 refugees and counting awaiting help from the international community.

These are the refugees which have just made the perilous journey on the boats- and they are in dire need of ground supplies of thermal blankets, first aid kits, socks and warm clothing. In order to accommodate to the vast numbers arriving almost every day, food supplies are in constant need…and this is where we need your help.

Our team will fly out to Greece with the money raised from donations- due to flight restrictions, we will purchase all supplies upon our arrival. 100% of donations will be used to purchase what is urgently required at the time of arrival.

The needs of these people is very real and so is our desire of wanting to help, so we ask you to donate as much as you are able to so we can collectively make a difference. Even just sharing this page will allow us to reach out further and highlight the cause.
