Childcare Volunteering

I have been given an amazing once in a life time opportunity, to volunteer and teach children in Tianyar, Indonesia, in a small underfunded day care centre. It is a charity run programme called The Mighty Roar, and in order to take part, I must raise money for the programme. Any donations would be a great help, as the kindergarten is run solely on the funds from volunteers and the local community.

My tasks will include:

• Assisting local staff with teaching basic English
• Interacting with children to build their confidence
• Helping in other areas such as arts and crafts, singing and physical education
• Help with tasks around the centre such as cleaning and preparing food
