Our world deserves more Social Enterprises. Our world deserves more people who travel and who travel responsibly. Our world deserves more locally owned and sustainable businesses. Our world deserves more foundations like Planeterra so It is our goal to raise more awareness about the Planeterra Foundation and the impact it has made in communities all over the world. When Planeterra starts something in a community, there is a huge positive ripple effect and when the local people are given an opportunity to create a sustainable business, they get a chance at a better life, not only for themselves, but also their families and the whole community. Planeterra helps to start a business and travelers who visit through our G Adventures tours is our way of supporting the project and helping in making it ultimately sustainable. By donating $1 online to Planeterra, these projects can get the funding they need and continue the ripple effect in their communities. We believe that tourism can be the greatest method of wealth distribution in the world and that's why our world deserves more people like you.

With 3 hrs and 20 min to deadline paypal still does not allow for donations for this worthy cause. I will not go ahead with the plan to get the Rand value of 345 CAD to one of the organisers for the deposit into the account.

A real pitty that PAYPAL failed you guys during this fundraiser. I tried to make a donation on behalf of CEO Piet and Travellers to the amount of at least 395 CAD since 16:30 (CAT) on 16 November 2018. Sadly because of PAYPAL issues I could only manage to get 50 of the 395 CAD donated by 14:50 ((CAT) on 17 November 2018. I even have gone to the extent to ask other friends and family, one of who is a paypal user for years, to assist to get the said amount donated before the deadline but they too experienced the same problem. But allow me to congratulate the organisers in reaching their goal of 500 way before the deadline. This is the fact of the matter although the web page does not show this because paypal dit not allow the public to make donations as they wanted too. I will continue to try and make the donation online until the deadline expires after which the remainder of the CAD 395 not deposited will will be handed to one of the team member in Rand value for deposit into the account at a later stage.
