challenging situation

Hey there, I really hate having to ask strangers for money, and I know there are so many people out there pretending to be in need just to score some free cash. But trust me, that's not what I'm about. I pride myself on being an honest person, and I would never ask for help unless I truly needed it. In fact, I really dislike asking for help in general. But right now, I'm in a tough spot.

You see, two years ago, I tragically lost my oldest son. It's been incredibly difficult for me and my family. On top of that, I have an adult son with disabilities who relies on me for support. Our living situation isn't ideal, and I'm doing my best to improve it. I do have a job, but the pay is far from enough to make ends meet. I've been actively searching for a new job that pays a livable wage, but it hasn't been going too well.
