In Memory of Cha Cha!!!

On April 28, 2018 doctors discovered a large mass in the brain of nine-year-old Charisse Cunanan of San Fernando, Pampanga, The Philippines. On May 8, surgeons were able to remove almost all of the mass and also determined that it was not malignant/cancerous. With the love and prayers of family and friends, and God’s healing mercy, Charisse is slowly but steadily recovering.

On Saturday June 23, 2018 (Philippines Time) little Cha Cha passed away. Now the family is left with high medical costs for her care and hospitalization which is an enormous amount. This website aims to raise money to help Charisse (a.k.a. Cha Cha) and her family at this very difficult time. Please keep her family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn her death.

Charisse’s father is Rev. Leslie Cunanan of the United Methodist Church. When his daughter fell ill, Leslie was in the United States serving in a one-year residency program to become a hospital chaplain (clinical pastoral education). This page has been set up by some of Leslie’s chaplain colleagues.
