CG Productions Theater Shows

My name is Courtney Grace Foster, I am an aspiring director/producer/writer, I have been doing theatre (backstage) since I was 12 years old. I fell in love with it more recently when working on The Sound of Music in 2019 at the Savoy Theatre in Port Elizabeth. Since then I have been creating my own shows and as of now I have about 20 ideas for shows that are ready to go. I unfortunately don't have my own funding to put on these shows. The money I raise here will help me put on my first show, it will go towards theater hire, sound equipment hire, set and prop construction, costumes, hair and makeup.

My dream is to get my shows into the spotlight as well as showcase the amazing talent of the people that have agreed to come on this journey with me. On my team I have an amazing group of singers, dancers, actors, costume designers, lighting designers, stage managers, backstage workers and more.

The first show I am planning to put on is An Underrated Disney Revue. This is a show i have been working on for just over a year. In a world that has been divided for too long it is a show that celebrates many cultures. It includes 25 different cultures as well as 9 language as some of the songs are performed in their native languages. It has a need for a diverse cast of singers, dancers, actors and musicians. It is a show that attracts many different people due to the variety of songs and the way the songs are performed, they interest children and adults of any age. My cast and crew are eager to start rehearsals as soon as possible.
