Dear family, friends, and even strangers,

It’s that brother, cousin, son, goodson, nephew, uncle, 2nd cousin, 3rd cousin on father’s side, friend, and crazy coworker of yours! Now this is not something I do often but I got to be honest. I need your help. See I’ve been writing film for the past four years and have written four complete short films but there is this one in particular... About a year ago I wrote a short film called Cemetery Children. I’ve been floating it around and putting in good ol rolling of the sleeves work and managed to get it casted and story boarded. And recently it’s taken on a life of it’s own. People that are way talented than I could have ever hoped for have joined the project. And the crazy thing is is that they joined because they believe in the script and they believe in the characters... and that’s insane to me!

Quick Pitch! So what's it about? Well it’s about Luca, an ex convict, that visits the cemetery the night his estranged mother was buried. After befriending Jake, an ex drag queen and homeless stranger in the dark, things turn deadly when one of them reveals the reason for their visit. (cue the “dun dun” theme music)

Now listen all this money would go to the very talented team our producer Rocko Zevenbergen has put together and getting the film to sound, look, and feel its best and we will work our asses off to create something that we can be proud of because we believe it’s special but we cant do it without your support!

My vision for this whole project is that this story shows a different side of Independent Portland Cinema we don’t get to see too often. Both leads are non white , one is queer and black, the other straight and brown. Both poor as fuck and not only can some socially relevant issue to our country be seen in the backdrop of this story but more specifically this city: we got race relations, homelessness, prison industrial complex, toxic masculinity, the queer community, depression, poverty, addiction, and maybe worst of all...family issues.

We humbly ask that you provide the little that you can and we would be soo grateful. Anything! Even a dollar. Small donations rock. No corporate PAC money accepted here. Unless it’s Oprah Network. We love you!
