Heloo everyone!

Cara Phillips is one amazing young woman whos full of joy and can always be found kicking a soccer ball or hanging around a soccer field. In January, Cara noticed a bump on the side of her rib cage. She went to the hospital for X-rays and a CAT scan that revealed a tumor. This ultimately led to a biopsy that officially diagnosed a cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma. Ewing's Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone, or soft tissue surrounding the bone, that typically is found in children and young adults.

The past weeks have been pretty crazy for Cara and her mom Camile. She is in the process of withdrawing from her classes and moving back to Cleveland where she will receive treatment at the University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Cara is just beginning her journey and we have set up this account to offset the numerous costs that are going to be associated with her relocation, living expenses, care, and travel. We all can't wait to see Cara back in uniform and out on the field again in the future. Thanks so much for your support.
