Car Repair and College Aid

I'm hoping to raise some funds to repair my car and have a few dollars aside as emergency cash for when I return to college. I need transmission work, but am pretty sure it just needs to be repaired and not replaced. There are some other needs for the car, but I believe I can teach myself to take care of most of them.
